Partial scholarships

In the winter semester 2020/21, the UNIKIMS Management School will be awarding partial scholarships for the second time to new students applying for the Master's degree program "Wind Energy Systems". The scholarship reduces the tuition fees by €4,000. These normally amount to €14,000 and are reduced to €10,000 if the scholarship is received.

The UNIKIMS Management School offers scholarships for new students who apply for the master program "Wind Energy Systems", starting in October 2020. The scholarship is in the form of a tuition fee reduction worth 4,000 Euro. Thereby, the tuition fee is reduced from 14,000 to 10,000 Euro in total.

Eligible students will be automatically considered. Eligibility is based on outstanding academic and professional achievement, indicated by submitted documents with the application for the online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems.

Once your qualifications for the master studies have been verified by uni-assist (or, in case of students with German degree, by UNIKIMS) your eligibility will be assessed. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will receive confirmation in writing.

All scholarships apply to 2020 entry only. If you are offered a scholarship and then choose to defer your place to a later year, the offer of the scholarship will be withdrawn.

If you are awarded a scholarship, you must

• enrol as a new master student in the online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems by the given start date in 2020, as specified in your confirmation email/letter

• pay the outstanding tuition fees of 10,000 Euro by university deadlines. It is possible to pay it every semester, plus the enrolment fees of University of Kassel:

  • 5 semester each €2,000
  • + enrolment fees of University of Kassel (e.g. €140.70 in winter semester 2018/19)

Suitable students are automatically considered for a partial scholarship. Eligibility is based on outstanding academic and professional achievements. Suitability is assessed on the basis of the documents submitted when applying for the M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems.

As soon as the qualification for the Master's program has been verified by uni-assist (or by UNIKIMS for applicants with a German first degree), the eligibility for a partial scholarship will be checked. Notification of receipt of a scholarship will be sent by post.

All partial scholarships are awarded at the start of studies in 2020. It is not possible to start your studies at a later date as part of a partial scholarship.

If you are offered a partial scholarship, you must

• enroll as a new Master's student in the M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems on the date specified in the confirmation letter in 2020

• pay the remaining tuition fees of €10,000 within the deadlines specified by the University of Kassel

  • €2,000 each for five semesters
  • plus semester fees of the university (e.g. € 140.70 in the winter semester 2018/19)
