Tasks:

The position holder is expected to perform teaching and research tasks in the area of high efficiency power electronic energy converters and power supply technology. In the creation of new converters, the focus is on circuit concepts as well as new semiconductor elements, in particular based on Wide Band Gap (WBG) materials as well as magnetic materials. Design and realization of converter topologies and driver circuits for the extremely fast switching elements are in the foreground. This is a qualifying position with the possibility of a Ph.D. degree in engineering.

 

Requirements:
