Artistic assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of visual communication

Part-time with half of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG; artistic further qualification).

Tasks:

Independent teaching; conceptual and organizational collaboration in the field of study; supervision of student projects; preparation of project documentation; maintenance of the web representation of the field of study; support in administrative tasks and committee work. Organization and maintenance of technical equipment. Teaching duties amounting to 4 semester hours per week based on the Hessian Ordinance on Teaching Duties. 

Requirements:

Completed artistic college or university studies. Documented own practice as designer and/or artist; image and/or text publications in the field of postcolonial and queer-feminist representational critiques. Teaching experience. Very good English language skills.
