Art academy: RUNDGANG 2018

From 12 to 15 July 2018, the Kunsthochschule Kassel will open its workspaces and exhibition area for the major final presentation of current works and offer visitors insights and exchange with a diverse accompanying program. A two-day symposium on 13 and 14 July on the topic of AUTONOMY will be organized as a central event during the tour.

Autonomy is defined - "auto nomos" means self-legislation; non-autonomous is also defined in   reverse, but what does partial autonomy mean in concrete terms? And what is to be achieved with it - members of the art academy, members of the university, members of the ministry? These questions will be discussed at the symposium and different positions will be brought together in order to contribute to opinion-forming. Further information on the symposium will follow soon!

The Rundgang is the traditional annual exhibition of the students of the Kunsthochschule Kassel. Exemplary works are shown. The date is always at the end of the summer semester. The event has long since established itself as one of the cultural highlights of the region. The tour is free of charge and no registration is required.
