Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of "French Literature"

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of French literary studies with the aim of gaining your own academic qualification
• Support in the development and implementation of academic projects in the field of French literature
• Teaching activities in accordance with the teaching obligation ordinance currently amounting to 2 SWS in the French teacher training courses and in the BA/MA course in Cultural Studies in French Romance Studies
• Advice and support for students
• Participation in the self-administration committees and in the organization of studies

Prerequisites:

• Academic university degree (state examination, Diplom, Magister, Master's or comparable degree) in French with a focus on literary studies, completed with at least good results
• PhD project on French literature/culture (17th-21st century)
• Very good written and spoken French
