The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 3 years at 50.00 percent of the regular weekly working hours of a full-time employee (qualification position in accordance with § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG). Tasks:

  • Research, preferably in language psychology/psycholinguistics (e.g. sound symbolism)
  • (Co-)work on the preparation of scientific publications (in the context of a habilitation)
  • Participation in the preparation and implementation of cognitive psychology research projects
  • Teaching 4 SWS primarily in psychology degree programs (general psychology, methodology, empirical internships)
  • Supervision of theses, assistance with examinations
  • Assistance with administrative tasks

 

Prerequisites:

  • Good to very good academic degree (Diploma or Master's degree) in psychology or a related subject
  • Completed very good doctorate on a cognitive psychology topic
  • Very good knowledge of psychological research methods
  • Experience in (experimental) scientific work
  • Very good language skills in English and German
