Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of cell biology

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 2 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Services in research and teaching in the field of the subject area
• Production of Dictyostelium mutants and fusion proteins to characterize their function in lipid metabolism
• Physiological analysis using qualitative and quantitative techniques

Prerequisites

• Completed scientific university studies in biology or related subjects with a diploma or master's degree
• Knowledge of molecular biological methods, lipid analysis, microscopic methods and experience in cell culture, preferably with Dictyostelium
• Intention to do a doctorate and corresponding commitment
