The University of Kassel has successfully applied for a continuation of the "Quality Offensive Teacher Education" of the BMBF with the project "Professionalization through Networking (PRONET²)" and advertises the following position for the implementation of the project:

 

Research assistant as coordinator of the PRONET meta-evaluation study PROMETEUS (EG 14 TV-H), temporary, full-time (currently 40 hours per week)

The position is initially limited until 31.12.2023 within the framework of the project "Metaevaluation of the project "Professionalization through Networking (PRONET²)" (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility for further scientific qualification is given and supported.

  • Further development of the evaluation concept in cooperation with the field leaders and the overall project management
  • Coordination of evaluation measures
  • Supervision of scientific. Research assistants
  • Reporting, preparation and writing of publications
  • comprehensive data analyses
  • Public relations (website design)
  • Consulting of scient. Staff of the subprojects

 

Requirements (EG 14 TV-H):

  • a university degree with very good results, preferably a teaching degree, a degree in educational science, a degree in psychology or a degree in sociology
  • project experience in empirical educational research and in larger evaluation projects
  • very good doctoral degree
  • very good knowledge in teacher research
  • very good knowledge especially in quantitative research methods
  • confident handling of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, Mplus, R)
  • very good analytical skills
  • an independent, responsible way of working
  • ability to lead employees in a goal-oriented manner

 

The position can initially also be filled as a EG 13 TV-H position, especially if the doctorate has not yet been completed.
