Artistic assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of comics/illustration in the Visual Communication degree program

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension until 30.09.2023 (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of further artistic qualification is given.

Tasks:

• Participation in the study program of the subject Comic/Illustration
• Supervision and counseling of students
• Participation in exhibitions and projects
• Participation in the study program of the basic class in Visual Communication
• Conducting your own seminars and workshops
• Development of your own qualification project

Requirements:

• Completed studies at an art academy or an accredited university degree program
• Publications in the fields of comics/illustration
• A very good portfolio
• relevant professional experience in the fields of comics and illustration
• Experience in teaching

The submission (exposé) of a design/creative qualification project in this field is expected.
