Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of Supply Chain Management

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of supply chain management
• Independent work on a research sub-area of supply chain management
• Research work on stakeholder management in value chains

Requirements

• A university degree with honors (Master's or Diploma) at the interface between business administration and technology (e.g. industrial engineering)
• very good knowledge of supply chain management and good knowledge of empirical research methods
• Very good German and English language skills, good communication skills, high level of independence and confident  handling of MS-Office

Advantageous are:

• Knowledge of the Spanish language
• A high degree of organizational skills
• Experience with empirical research work, e.g. as part of the Master's thesis
