Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of building conservation and timber construction

The position is initially limited to 2 years (§ 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of building conservation and timber construction
• Independent processing of a research sub-area, which is worked on with international partners and in cooperation with medium-sized companies, in the areas of
  • Timber structures under earthquake impact
  • bonded composite structures made of wood and high-strength concretes
  • Innovative form-fit connections in timber construction

Prerequisites:

• University degree in civil engineering (Master's/Diploma) completed with very good to good results
• Professional experience desirable
• Good knowledge of timber construction
• Special interest in scientific work
• Willingness to work in a team
• Confident linguistic expression (German and English)
