Teacher for special tasks (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of Romance Linguistics

Part-time with half of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 2 years with the possibility of extension (§ 2 Abs. 1 WissZeitVG).

Tasks:

The position holder is expected to provide academic services in the area of teaching and by participating in research tasks in Romance linguistics (French and Spanish). The possibility for own scientific further qualification is given.

The teaching load is based on the currently valid Teaching Obligations Ordinance and currently amounts to 7 semester hours per week, assuming predominant teaching activities and taking into account additional tasks.

Prerequisites:

• Above-average academic university degree in Romance studies;
• a doctoral degree in linguistics (at least magna cum laude) is desired
• Doctoral candidates can also apply. They are asked to submit the exposé of the doctoral thesis.
