Abstract of the lecture:
From the hand to the head to the city: In the future, residents will be able to participate in the design of their living space in the city via a digital platform and with many activities. This is achieved with a clever participation design that motivates and encourages shared ideas and their sustainable implementation. Hand-Kopf-Stadt lets everyone lend a hand, promotes knowledge about possibilities for better living together (head) and thus leads to jointly designed squares, gardens, spaces, but also festivals, concerts or concepts for more sustainability. The concept has been practically tested as the project "Sandbox - self-made campus" at the Technical University of Braunschweig.
