The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 3 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG).   • Knowledge of electronics
  • Programming experience: Python, C/C++, Matlab
  • Vacuum design and construction of high-precision mechanical setups at low temperatures
  • Experimental experience in the field of quantum information processing

 

Advantageous are:

  • Relevant experience in quantum optics, quantum information, quantum thermodynamics, atomic physics, laser physics and optics.
  • Complementary studies in electronics and optoelectronics
