Research Associate (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Construction Materials and Construction Chemistry

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee, limited initially until 28.02.2021 in accordance with § 2 para. 1 WissZeitVG within the framework of third-party funded projects. An increase in working hours is intended. Possibility for doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

Independent scientific research activity at the Department of Materials in Civil Engineering in the field of concrete technology with a focus on concrete products. Carrying out independent experimental investigations in the field of concrete technology using modern measuring methods in materials science. Independent evaluation and interpretation of results. Presenting new knowledge and the results of research work in internationally recognized journals and at national and, where appropriate, international conferences. Contribute to the preparation of research reports and proposals. 

Requirements:

Good to very good scientific university degree (M.Sc, Dipl.-Ing.) in civil engineering or comparable. In-depth knowledge in the field of anorg.-mineral binders and concrete technology. Knowledge of modern testing and measurement techniques, especially with regard to qualitative and quantitative evaluation of microstructural material properties is required. EDP experience and high interdisciplinary willingness to learn and cooperate, very good oral and written communication skills in English are required and assumed.
