Part-time with 75% of the regular working hours of a full-time employee with the possibility to increase to a full-time position. The position is initially limited until 28.02.2022 as part of a project with Evangelische Bank eG (EB) and EB - Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM) (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). Tasks:

Research and teaching in the context of the above mentioned project, especially in the areas of sustainable investments and investor preferences.

In teaching, colleagues are to be supported in courses in investment and finance, empirical capital market research, sustainable portfolio and asset management, financial management of banks, total bank management and data preparation using MS-Excel and statistical software R.

In research, the focus is on empirical capital market research, especially with respect to sustainable investments. In addition, research on the investment behavior of private and institutional (sustainable) investors is highly relevant.              

 

Prerequisites:

You have an above-average academic university degree (diploma or master's degree) in economics/business administration/industrial engineering/commercial mathematics or a related field and have sound theoretical and methodological knowledge in the areas of finance and empirical capital market research. In addition, you have a very good ability to express yourself in German and English.

 

Advantages:

Ideally, you have also completed an apprenticeship as a banker (or similar) and/or have gained experience (e.g. internships) with banks/asset managers. Experience with MS Office and statistical software systems (e.g. R or STATA), as well as sound econometric skills are desirable.
