Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of organometallic chemistry

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a maximum of a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Your tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of organometallic chemistry
• Independent work on a research sub-area in the field of unconventional N-heterocyclic carbenes
• Implementation of the GefStoffV in the department

Your requirements:

• University degree (Diploma, Master) in nanostructure sciences / nanoscience with at least good results
• Experience in the synthesis and chemistry of unconventional N-heterocyclic carbenes

Advantageous are:

• Previous experience in the co-organization of supervision-intensive courses
• Thorough, careful, conscientious and independent way of working
• Creative, result-oriented working style
• A high degree of organizational skills
• High motivation and ability to work in a team
• Very good specialist knowledge and extensive practical experience in organometallic chemistry and analytics
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
