Tasks:

  • Plant and maintain the research properties of the Landscape Construction, Management and Vegetation Development department (study areas on campus grounds as well as in public spaces, primarily with perennials but also woody plants, seed trials).

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of propagation, cultivation and use of perennials and woody plants
  • Several years of experience with cultivation in the open and in greenhouses
  • In-depth knowledge of general cultural measures, such as soil cultivation, soil improvement (including fertilization), weed control, plant protection
  • Initial experience in drawing up planting and maintenance plans
  • Basic knowledge in the use of necessary machines and tools as well as their maintenance
  • Several years of experience with the documentation of vegetation progressions
  • Ability to perform tasks primarily independently and on your own responsibility (occasionally may work with student assistants)
