Artistic assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of visual arts, with a focus on film/video/installation

Part-time with half of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility for artistic qualification is given.

Tasks:

• Services in the field of visual arts, with a focus on film/video/installation.
• Collaboration in teaching activities
• Conception and planning of student projects
• Supervision of students in the realization of artistic works
• Organization of courses as well as equipment and material organization

Requirements:

• Completed artistic university studies
• Broad interest in the current art scene, especially artistic film and video
• Knowledge of common office and image and sound editing software
• Organizational talent
• Pedagogical aptitude and good English skills
