Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Design and Building Construction

Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension until 31.03.2024. (Qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility for doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of design and building construction
• Independent work on a research subfield, preferably in the area of materials and technology (construction).

Requirements:

• Academic university studies in the field of architecture completed with very good to good results
• Excellent skills in designing and constructing buildings down to the last detail (construction-oriented design)

Advantageous are:

• Several years of practical experience in the field of design and construction outside of academia

• Design expertise, demonstrated through competitions and/or preliminary design/design work
• Expertise in building construction, demonstrated through implementation planning and/or object supervision
• Interest in research and development
• A high degree of organizational ability and independent working style
• Confident handling of digital media
