2 Employee in library service (m/f/d), EG 3 TV-H - in the State Library and Murhard Library of the City of Kassel

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The employment is for the induction and replacement of an employee during the maternity protection period and is initially limited until 02.09.2019 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave will be sought

Tasks:

• Arranging stock (shelving and reshelving media)
• Arranging work in the open stacks and reading areas
• If necessary, supervisory and control tasks in one of the site libraries

Requirements:

• Willingness to acquire the specialist knowledge required to carry out the tasks
• Flexibility in organizing working hours according to the requirements of the job

Advantageous are:

• Knowledge of the Kassel University Library and its organization
• Willingness to work early shifts
