Tasks:

The position is intended to provide academic services in the scope of 14 semester hours per week (full-time) of teaching and through participation in research tasks in the field of social work. The teaching activities primarily relate to the training of students on the Bachelor's degree course in Social Work. Further duties in support of studies and teaching are to be undertaken. Courses are to be offered in the area of social policy and the organization of social services, in particular with regard to person-related interventions (7 SWS), as well as in the area of qualitative-reconstructive methodology and theories of social work and the welfare state (7 SWS).

Critical reflection on the current practice of these interventions and services as well as related policies, preferably in the subject areas of "work and poverty", is a prerequisite. Part of the profile of the courses is that the concrete benefits of the social science approach for social work are addressed.

Prerequisites:

  • Completed university degree in social sciences or educational sciences or degree in social work (MA)
