Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Dean's Office

With half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.12.2020 (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG; the possibility of a doctorate is given).

Your tasks:

• Scientific services as part of the support of the QPL project for anchoring practical experience in the course of study of the social work degree programs (BA and MA)
• Supporting students in the planning, implementation and placement of (research) internships abroad
• Further development of the concept for the organization and systematic evaluation of internships abroad
• Conceptual and organizational support for the involvement of practitioners in teaching
• Cooperation with the Career Service of the University of Kassel
• Cooperation with the BPS department of the Institute of Social Work
• Participation in internal and external project communication and reporting with regard to funding within the framework of the Teaching Quality Pact

Employment requirements:

• Completed academic university degree, preferably in social work, social pedagogy or educational science
• Fluent written and spoken English and good knowledge of at least one other foreign language
• Very good organizational skills
• Good communication skills and enjoy working with people
• Independent way of working
