Two research assistants (m/f/d), up to EG 13 TV-H - in the field of technical elementary education

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The positions are limited until 31.03.2021 (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given. A combination of both half-time positions into one full-time position is possible.

The Department of Technical Elementary Education is located in teacher training and deals in research and teaching with early technical education and the associated potentials. Starting from the child, who wants to understand and shape his or her own world with an unrestrained curiosity, technical topics are developed and examined for their educational effectiveness in exemplary teaching units. The subject area of technical elementary education is characterized by a high practical component and intensive cooperation with elementary schools. The aim is to familiarize children with technology as a manageable and exciting field of activity in their early childhood years.

Tasks:

• Teaching duties amounting to 4 SWS
• Support of teaching and committee work
• Collaboration in research projects
• Collaboration in publications
• Support of organizational and coordinative tasks in the department

Requirements:

• Completed studies of a teaching profession
• High level of commitment, strong communication skills, enjoys working in a team and with students
• Careful and independent way of working
• A high degree of organizational skills
