Tasks:

The position is intended to provide academic services by teaching 7 semester hours per week and by participating in research tasks in the field of counseling science. The teaching activities primarily relate to the training of students on the Bachelor's degree course in Social Work and the Master's degree courses for which the Institute of Social Work is responsible.

Tasks are the scientific foundation and teaching of counselling skills for professional fields of action and research in the areas of social therapy, supervision, group dynamics, group analysis, mediation, conflict management and organizational counselling. Part of the course consists of qualitative social research, including its fundamentals.

The opportunity for further academic qualification is given.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Completed academic university degree, which must be proven by a relevant doctorate and/or additional qualification in a field of activity,
  • Consulting and research skills
  • experience in higher education didactics or, if possible, several years of teaching experience in the areas mentioned.

  • Experience with problems and practical fields of social work as well as knowledge of debates on scientific and professionalization theory.
