Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of public law, in particular IT law and environmental law

The position is initially limited until 31.12.2023 as part of the research project "emergenCity" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given. The project deals with the legal issues of smart cities, in particular in the areas of data protection and IT security law.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned project
• Working on legal issues (especially data protection and IT security law)
• Participation in project meetings, interdisciplinary cooperation and presentation of legal results

Requirements:

• Above-average academic university degree in law (state examination in law or Master of Laws)
• Interest in innovative research questions in labor and IT law
• Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment
• Ability to communicate and work in a team

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge in the areas of law mentioned
• Subject-specific foreign language skills (English)
• Basic understanding of technical principles
