Scientific employee (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of agricultural and food marketing

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years (qualification position according to § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of agricultural and food marketing
• Independent work on a research subfield in research on consumer expectations of organic apples and processed organic foods.

Prerequisites:

• Graduated with good to excellent academic standing with a degree in Agricultural Science (emphasis in Agricultural Economics) or Resource Management (emphasis in Social Research). Required degree must be received no later than the date of hire.
• Knowledge and experience in the application of qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical social research and related software.
• Ability to quickly analyze complex economic issues
• Ability to present facts to different target groups in written and oral form
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
• Experience in applied consumer research
• Knowledge of consumer expectations of organic apples and processed organic foods
• Project experience
