Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.12.2024 within the framework of the project "Global Partnership Network" (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

 

Tasks:

  • Scientific collaboration in the above mentioned project
  • Coordination of the production of Open Educational Resources on the topics of the research project in cooperation with the partner universities of the network in different formats for academic and non-academic target groups as well as creation of an online portal with templates for OER production.

 

Requirements:

  • Academic university degree in the social sciences completed with at least good grades. The required degree must be received no later than the date of hire.
  • Experience working with online portals and internet-supported intercultural communication, as well as with the production of Open Educational Resources.
  • Experience working with universities and researchers* in Africa.
  • Experience in working with non-governmental organizations in Africa
  • Experience in the social transfer of academic knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge in the fields of development policy and postcolonial studies
  • Experience in creating multi-site clouds and open source based IT tool chains for collaborative OER creation
  • Experience in teaching at master's level in the English language
  • Very good command of English
