The positions are initially limited until 31.1.2023 within the framework of the project "Jobs Program Germany for the promotion of health among the unemployed in the communal living environment with the inclusion of employment promotion institutions" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The project aims to promote the health of the unemployed and their labor market integration. A randomized controlled trial with intervention and waiting control groups is planned. For the intervention, the international, multimodal "JOBS Program" with elements of social learning and self-efficacy will be transferred to Germany. After a pretest with about 50 unemployed people, CATI telephone interviews will be conducted with about 1,400 unemployed people at three measurement points with a pretest before the intervention, a posttest afterwards and a 6-month follow-up. The project will examine the effects on health and labor market integration of the intervention participants in comparison to the waiting control group, adjusting for sociodemographic and employment biographical variables. For the formative evaluation, semi-standardized questionnaire surveys will be conducted among trainers as well as providers/organizers on acceptance, success and inhibiting factors, implementation and potential for improvement during the process. The possibility for doctoral studies is given.
