Plant market around the tropical greenhouse

Finally back after a two-year break: On Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., connoisseurs and enthusiasts will visit the plant market in Witzenhausen. Everything revolves around garden and greenery. Whether carnivorous or fragrant plants, cacti, vegetables in old and new varieties, wild perennials, herbs, shrubs or trees - everyone will find something new for the garden, balcony or terrace. You can also visit the teaching and learning garden and the tropical greenhouse.

More than 30 exhibitors take part in the market, among them well-known and some new ones. Plants gibts with the nurseries Antonijevic, tree nursery Walsetal, Demeterbetrieb Lichtenborner herbs, Flamenco, Härtl, Hiemer, the Kakteenfreunde Göttingen, Karnivoren Kulms, K&K perennials, the nature garden oasis Werner, the perennial friends Kassel and the vegetable collective Kaufungen. Knofi & so. brings vegetable plants and Witzenhäuser specialties. Also the beekeeping Nass, specialized trade Hugo Haase, the milk sheep farm Asbach, pottery Wolff and Welland soaps wait as usual for the guests. The topics of seeds and variety conservation will be addressed by the Association for the Preservation of Crop Diversity and Saaten und Taten Dreschflegel. Of course, the pottery Wolf and bakery Henner are also back. New are the medicinal plant school Fehrmann, wood articles C.Hotze and garden decoration Anjali Göbel and the PhantasiaVersand Kuhlencord.

The Steinstraße is closed. Parking is available in Wickfeldstraße, An der Schlagd, Am Sande and at the markets in front of the Werrabrücke, among others.
