Vernissage: "How I not forget (and forget)".

Almost simultaneously with the gallery festival, two interesting exhibitions are taking place on the first floor of Haus Berneburg in Kassel Südstadt.
One is the solo exhibition "How I not forget (and forget)" by Japanese artist Kana Nishimori. A graduate of Kyoto City University of Arts, she is currently studying fine arts in the multidimensional strategies class at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. In her first solo exhibition in Kassel, she will recreate her reality and everyday life with her hands, mainly through embroidery.
Another exhibition is "people, feelings, thoughts" by Julia Rozentsveig, a painter who just came to Kassel from Ukraine in April. She is a member of a professional group of artists and was also an art teacher in Ukraine. She will show ink drawings that she painted in Ukraine just before she fled. These works are about the relationship of people, their feelings, thoughts, inner worlds, which in contact with each other create something new and different.
