First event in a student-organized series of events

The event will focus on the connections between the climate crisis, economic growth, and the role of large-scale technological approaches in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports.
Speaker Linda Schneider has been following the negotiations on the latest IPCC reports in 2021/2022 and will report on how the models and scenarios in the IPCC report deal with the issue of economic growth, the role of risky technological approaches, and what this means for the extension of the fossil age.
Following on from this, alternatives and actual solutions for climate justice will be addressed, as well as potentials of post-growth ideas for addressing the climate crisis.
