Dorothea Schoppek: "Growing" degrowth? Strategies, actors and alliances

This lecture deals with the question of how the vision of a degrowth society can be brought out of its niche. While various degrowth practices and ideas are already being implemented in a large number of projects and initiatives, their vision has hardly played a role in politics and business to date. Against this background, we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different strategies by which actors are trying to influence the transformation towards a degrowth society. Who are these actors and which alliances are emerging or would be necessary beyond this?
