Dragons of inaction

From November 7 - 11, 2022, the Public Climate School initiated by Students for Future will take place. For one week, there will be lectures, discussions and other offerings on the topic of climate and environmental protection at many universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany - on Nov. 9, also at the Campus Center.

As part of this, a group of students from the Department of Ecological Agricultural Sciences in cooperation with the Graduate Center for Environmental Research and Teaching (GradZ) and the Green Office of the University of Kassel will carry out the action "Dragons of inaction" on Wednesday, November 09, between 10:00 and 12:30 in the foyer of the CampusCenter. The aim is to question how to overcome the "inner pig dog" that prevents a person from taking sustainable action. In an interactive activity, people can face their own inner dragon and find out what they can do to overcome it. The event format was developed as part of the project study "Teaching for a Sustainable University" and was already offered in September at the Hessian Sustainability Day in the Königsgalerie in Kassel.
