In-service training for teachers: rethinking listening comprehension: digital & learning speed-individualized design of listening-viewing comprehension exercises

The workshop is about a modern and contemporary conceptualization of listening-viewing comprehension exercises. In addition to the audio templates from the textbooks, it is necessary to provide students with authentic material. This can be achieved in the classroom by integrating videos, e.g. from the Youtube platform. The workshop will demonstrate digital possibilities with the help of the ed puzzle tool. After a short data protection excursus and subject didactic basics on listening-viewing comprehension as well as conventional task formats, an example from Spanish and French lessons will be used to explain how a digital and learner-oriented design of HV tasks can take place. Different task formats and their integration in the tool will be explained to the participants, as well as first self-experiments in handling the tool itself.
