Recruiting and Appointing International Professors - Results of an Online Survey of Rectors and Presidents of Member Universities of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK)

A survey of rectors and presidents on the recruitment and appointment of international professors within the framework of the BMBF-funded HRK project "HRK ADVANCE - Optimizing Governance and Processes of Internationalization" is reported. A survey of all 269 member universities of the HRK was conducted with the focus on challenges in the appointment of international professors, governance of appointment processes, recruitment strategies and forms of institutionalization.
