Teacher as pedagogical assistant (up to A 14 HBesG) - in the field of school pedagogy with a focus on upper secondary schools

Part-time with 25% of the regular working time of a full-time employee, limited in time within the framework of a secondment/partial secondment to work in the ^Pronet2 -subproject: "Reflective competence development in cross-phase teacher education with ePortfolio".

Task profile:

• Collaboration in the conceptual development, testing and evaluation of a cross-phase learning environment within the sub-project "Reflective competence development in cross-phase teacher education with ePortfolio".
• Conceptual design, implementation and evaluation of the use of ePortfolio in the second phase of teacher education in cooperation with study seminars
• Work with student teachers, teacher trainees, university lecturers and trainers of the Hessian Teacher Academy
• Cooperation in scientific public relations and  publication activities

Requirements profile:

• Completed teaching degree (L2) with the subjects English and History as well as second state examination, at least three years of school practice after the second state examination.
• teaching experience at secondary level I
• profound experience and knowledge in working with teachers in the preparatory service and cooperation in the second phase of teacher education
• proven knowledge of the second phase of teacher education, e.g. through leadership and administrative experience
• profound experience and knowledge in the field of media education and the use of ePortfolio in teacher education
• an independent, responsible way of working

The secondment/partial secondment as a pedagogical employee from the school service takes place outside of the vacancy contingents managed in the business area of the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs for the period initially from 01.08.2019 to 31.07.2020.

According to the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Staff at the Universities of the State of Hesse (Teaching Obligations Ordinance), the standard teaching obligation is 4.5 teaching hours for almost exclusive teaching activities and 3.5 teaching hours for predominant teaching activities.
