Two teams from Kassel made it to the final in the race for the curatorship of the German Pavilion at the Biennale of Architecture 2025 in Venice: a curatorial team led by Prof. Stefan Rettich qualified under the title "Obsentials - Towards A Circular City". The team with the involvement of Dr. Alexander Stumm from the University of Kassel was also short-listed - with the theme: "Demolition City". In the end, the jury decided in favor of the "STRESSTEST" team, which deals with the overheating of nature and cities.
