Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - Department of Organic Agriculture and Crop Production

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The employment is for the replacement of an employee during the maternity protection period and is initially limited until 28.11.2018 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave will be sought.

Tasks:

• Assumption of teaching tasks to the extent of 2 semester hours per week
• Preparation of a research proposal "Meta-analysis on the topic of discharges into groundwater and surface water, conventional and organic in comparison"
• Writing of a research report and collaboration on a scientific article on the topic "Qualitative evaluation of comparative studies on nitrate in groundwater and surface water"
• Co-supervision of a relevant research group

Requirements

• Completed scientific university degree in the field of organic farming/agriculture and doctorate
• Good knowledge of organic farming
• Very good knowledge of the scientific literature on the subject of "Comparative experiments and studies on nitrogen emissions, organic vs. conventional"
• Experience in writing scientific texts
• Good knowledge of English
• Ability to work in a team and social skills
