Teacher for special tasks (EG 13 TV-H) - in the Department of History Didactics

Tasks:

• Teaching on a scientific basis and using scientific methods for 18 semester hours per week in the field of history didactics, including preparation and follow-up of teaching
• Implementation and supervision of courses in the History degree programs (e.g. Introduction to History Didactics), supervision of practical school studies/internship phases.
• Participation in research tasks in the field of history didactics
• Participation in the administration and organization of the subject Didactics of History
• Exchange and cooperation between the Department of History Education and extracurricular educational institutions and places of learning in the region
• Student advising and study organization in the subject Didactics of History
• Participation in state examinations
• Course planning
• Participation in the evaluation and quality improvement of teaching

Requirements:

• Completed academic university degree in History (1st state examination), 2nd state examination for the teaching profession in History as well as an above-average doctorate in History with a focus on Ancient History. Teaching experience at school beyond the preparatory service, academic teaching experience in the field of history didactics, in particular in the areas of inclusion in teaching and teacher training, practical reflection, Jewish history and research focus in the didactics of history are expected.

Advantageous are:

• Research focus in the areas of historical culture (from an interdisciplinary, cultural studies perspective), textbook research, multilingualism in history teaching/bilingual history teaching, extracurricular places of learning as well as experience in the supervision of academic theses (state examination theses).
