Artistic or scientific employee (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of Industrial Design

with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG; artistic or scientific further qualification).

Your tasks:

• Services in teaching in the area of the subject area
• Further development of design teaching in industrial design
• Development of an own qualification project

Your requirements:

• Completed artistic university studies or accredited university studies as a graduate designer or MA in design.
• Professional experience through internships and project work in the field of product design and interior design
• Project work in the field of design of a shared economy 
• experience in the implementation and realization of products
• own portfolio in this field
• experience in the organization, planning and realization of international exhibitions
• Ability for historical-critical analysis of design developments
• willingness to cooperate in teaching
• experience in project management and in the use of common layout and design software
• English foreign language skills

Advantageous are:

• Additional training in interior design and practical training as a carpenter or in mechanical or metal engineering.

The submission (exposé) of an own artistic or scientific research topic in this field is expected.
