On the way to the preparatory service - What or who helps? We! - Information event for prospective teachers

On November 20, 2018, the GEW in cooperation with the ZLB of the University of Kassel again offers an information event on the preparatory service at schools.

4 p.m. to 6 p.m., University of Kassel at Campus HoPla, Room 1004 at Georg-Forster-Str. 4 (seminar building), 1st floor.

After the first state examination of the teacher training study follows in Hessen the preparatory service (in other Lands of the Federal Republic Referendariat), which qualifies with the second state examination for the teaching occupation at schools.
"No places, hard work, evaluation horror" - there are many myths about the preparatory service in Hesse. The event will dispel these myths.

- How do I get into the preparatory service? What do I have to keep in mind? Which subjects and which teaching profession have which opportunities in Hesse?
- How do I get to the school of my choice?
- What can I expect during my traineeship? What kind of work do I have to do? How much do I earn?
- How good are my chances of being hired after the second state examination? What about the much-discussed shortage of teachers?
