Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - Department of Agricultural and Food Marketing

Part-time with 60.00 percent of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 5 years (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

Work on a third-party funded project on communication and sales testing of dairy and meat products from innovative production processes. Within the scope of the joint project with numerous partners from research, industry and trade, the creation and testing of communication materials for food products from innovative production processes as well as sales tests and consumer surveys in food retailing are carried out. The data will be analyzed using qualitative and quantitative market research methods.

Prerequisites:

Completed academic university studies in agricultural sciences/agricultural economics or food economics, in each case with a focus on market research or marketing; very good university degree; confident handling of statistical data analyses and user programs (SPSS); sound experience in the preparation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data; independent, thorough and cooperative working style; very good verbal and written expression skills in German and English; experience in organizing and conducting consumer surveys is an advantage.
