Environment + sustainability move closer together

The environmental profile development and the corporate sustainability management of the University of Kassel have revised their website and now start in a clear and user-friendly responsive design, together around the topics of environment and sustainability.

The new website is a component of the University of Kassel's sustainability strategy, which aims to further sharpen its environmental and sustainability profile. In terms of sustainable development, the university wants to assume more social responsibility. Therefore, it strives for a sustainability orientation in the areas of research, teaching and operations in ecological, economic and social terms. The university's operations are to be further developed, in accordance with the sustainability goals set, in cooperation with university stakeholders from research, teaching and operations. To this end, the knowledge gained in research will also be incorporated into operations.

The website www.uni-kassel.de/go/nachhaltigeuni is divided into the areas "environmental research, environmental teaching, promotion of young scientists and operation". In addition to information on the most important organizations and contact persons in the environmental and sustainability field, the "Current News" section provides changing information on new contributions from research, teaching and operations on the topic of sustainability. In addition, there is a regularly changing exemplary selection of current research activities from the environmental area of the University of Kassel. The website Environment and Sustainability thus becomes a platform for all topics related to environmental research, environmental teaching, events, knowledge transfer and operational environmentally relevant developments.
