Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of solar and systems engineering

Continued employment in a full-time position is desired.

The position is initially limited until 30.4.2021 (§ 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Your tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of solar and systems engineering
• Independent work on a research area in the field of heating networks
• Collaboration in research projects on the topic of energy efficiency and integration of renewable energies in heating networks
• Support in the implementation of feasibility studies for the transformation of heating networks
• Independent communication with energy suppliers
• Support of the scientific and practical education as well as the university self-administration

Your requirements:

• University degree in engineering or physics with very good to good grades, ideally with a focus on renewable energy or thermal energy technology
• Advanced knowledge in one or more of the areas of heat grids, solar thermal energy, heat pumps, combined heat and power, and power plant and heating technology

Advantageous are:

• Experience in the technical and economic evaluation of various heat supply concepts
• Practical experience in planning and implementing appropriate measures
• Experience in using simulation programs (e.g. Polysun, TRNSYS)
• Knowledge of energy management issues
• Proven knowledge in project management
• Thorough and independent working style as well as high degree of organizational skills
