W 2 - Professorship "Fine Arts for Performance, Installation, Media" (m/f/d) - at the Kunsthochschule Kassel

The diversity of current artistic positions and the applicant's own areas of interest serve as the starting point for an artistic, cross-media teaching program. Applicants must have teaching experience.

The post holder must fulfill the following requirements:

• Outstanding and independent artistic work,
• several years of international exhibition experience,
• Willingness to teach across classes and disciplines,
• willingness to contribute to the further development of the Kunsthochschule,
• meaningful addition to the teaching positions at the art academy,
• Strengthening the supra-regional and international reputation of the Kunsthochschule.

Transcultural practice is desired.

The profile of the Kunsthochschule includes the direct proximity of the study programs Art, Art Education, Art Studies, Visual Communication and Product Design and the direct exchange and good cooperation with the workshops. Participation in academic self-administration is part of the duties.

The recruitment requirements and performance requirements according to §§ 61, 62 of the Hessian Higher Education Act apply. The position may be divisible.
