Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. There is the possibility of increasing this position by 25% in the Dean's Office of the department (Quality Management) to a full-time position. The position is initially limited to 3 years. An extension is being sought. (Qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of general psychology including research methods
• Coordination of the Bachelor's/Master's degree program in Psychology
• Supporting the Director of the Institute and the Psychology Examination Board
• Academic advising in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Psychology
• Teaching to the extent of 3 SWS either predominantly in the field of methods (in particular statistical software (R, SPSS), or in the field of biological psychology

Prerequisites:

• Academic university degree in psychology (or related subjects) completed with very good to good results
• For postdoctoral positions: Additionally completed doctorate in the field of psychology or related subjects
• Very good knowledge of statistical software (R, SPSS) and/or biological psychology
• Knowledge of English (B2)

Advantageous are:

• Organizational skills and a high level of communication skills, demonstrated by relevant experience.
• Research experience in the area of the professorship's research focus (e.g. memory psychology, language psychology, learning with multimedia, desirable difficulties in learning).
