Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of Heterogeneous Materials

The position is initially limited to 2 years (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

The scope of duties includes independent research activities in the field of processing and analysis of fiber composites with thermoplastic matrix in an innovative, team-oriented working environment.

Requirements:

You have a scientific university degree with at least a good grade in polymer/materials science, mechanical/industrial engineering with a specialization in materials technology/mechanical engineering or a comparable degree with a reference to polymers and are characterized by knowledge in the processing and characterization of filled or fiber-reinforced polymer materials. Ideally, you are familiar with cyclic-dynamic, mechanical and thermal analysis methods for plastics as well as imaging techniques such as light microscopy.
