Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of control and systems theory

The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension by 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:
Within the scope of the research activities, methods for the control of systems with stochastically modeled uncertainties are to be developed. This task includes the investigation of theoretical principles, algorithmic implementation and numerical validation of the control success for applications.

In addition, appropriate research and teaching services in the field of control and systems theory are to be provided.

Requirements:

• Very good academic degree with a Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable course of study
• In-depth prior knowledge of control theory and the modeling and analysis of dynamic systems
• Previous knowledge in the field of mathematical optimization is advantageous
• Experience in programming with Matlab/Simulink
• Good knowledge of English and German
• Above-average initiative and commitment
