Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of theory and empirics of health care

Part-time with half the regular weekly working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.07.2020 as part of the project "Jobs Program Deutschland zur Gesundheitsförderung bei Arbeitslosen in der kommunalen Lebenswelt mit Einbezug der Einrichtungen der Arbeitsförderung" (§ 2 Abs. 1 WissZeitVG). The project aims to promote the health of the unemployed and labor market integration. In the first phase, a qualitative preliminary study with a participatory approach will be carried out in a training group of the JOBS Program Germany. The aim is to gain insights into the experiences and coping strategies of the unemployed and to determine their needs and wishes with regard to training in the form of problem-centered guided interviews and focus group discussions. The statements of a maximum of approx. 25 participants will then be systematically evaluated using qualitative content analysis.

• Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned project

Requirements

• Completed university degree in a social or health science subject with at least good grades
• sound knowledge and experience in qualitative methods of empirical social research
• Willingness to travel to a training group to conduct interviews

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge in the areas of health promotion or work promotion
• Independent working methods, social skills and ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of English
